Pace Clubs Book a Bridge Walk, Puppy Yoga, Robot Art

The bridge walk fills a Wednesday lunch hour. The other two are Sunday, one on West 27th Street and one downtown on Dey Street, and they overlap.

Join Pace clubs for puppy yoga or a bridge walk.

Pace's downtown campus keeps almost everything inside 1 Pace Plaza. Three clubs are about to break that habit over one Wednesday and one Sunday, and each of them wants you somewhere else in the city.

Two of them start thirty minutes apart on the same Sunday, in different neighborhoods. That matters more than it sounds, because you will have to choose. The Wednesday walk is the easy one. It fits inside the lunch hour.

Wednesday 12:10 PM: across the Brooklyn Bridge

The Commuter Student Organization runs this one with the Center for Student Engagement, and it is programmed for commuter students who already cross the city to get to class. Pace puts that group at half of its student body. The listing gives it a single hour, 12:10 to 1:10 on Wednesday, September 30.

The promenade is its own deck above the traffic lanes, and there is almost no shade along it. Engine noise stays below you the whole way across. Bring water. Wear shoes you can walk a mile in.

Sunday noon: the marketing club books puppy yoga

The American Marketing Association chapter at Pace has a class booked at Puppy Sphere on West 27th Street, second floor, in the room the studio calls Flatiron Studio 1. It runs 12:00 to 2:00 on Sunday, October 4. This chapter usually runs office tours and panel discussions, and in 2025 it placed in the global top ten out of more than 330 AMA student chapters. The puppies are a detour from its own format.

The format is a gentle sequence on mats with puppies loose in the room for the whole session. The chapter posts the working details on its Instagram, @amapacenyc, so look there before Sunday. Wear something you would not mind getting paw prints on. Expect a full floor, since these run as group classes.

Sunday 12:30: Math Club at Mercer Labs

Math Club is the organizer here and the Pre-Professional Health Society is listed as co-organizer. The destination is Mercer Labs at 21 Dey Street, the digital art museum downtown, for the Maestros & Machines program.

Fifteen rooms, all self-guided, so the group moves at whatever pace it likes. Spatial audio, holographic LED walls, a drawing station, and a robotic arm that works in sand. The sound running through Maestros & Machines is credited to Timbaland. This is the only one of the three with a hard cap, and the cap is twenty spots.

Then look at the clock again. This one opens at 12:30 and the yoga class starts at noon on West 27th Street. One Sunday, two rooms, and no way to make both.

Before you go

All three sign-ups run through Pace's own event system, so you log in with Pace credentials to hold a spot. None of the three listings records what the outing costs, which means the club is the only place to get that answer. None of them lets you add a guest to your reservation either.
