Owens (Jesse) Park

Spread across 18.4 acres in the South Calumet community, the park pairs broad recreation grounds with eco-conscious facilities. Built in 2009, the fieldhouse features rooftop solar panels, a nature garden surrounding the fieldhouse, an indoor gymnasium, and a fitness center. Beyond the ballfields, the outdoor space includes tennis courts, a multi-purpose field, and five picnic groves. Park life stays anchored in organized neighborhood programming, from after-school care and adult fitness classes to Special Recreation for youth, teens, and adults.
