Fiesta Island’s sand fields host San Diego’s annual Over-the-Line tournament, a lively and distinctive beach tradition.
Description
Set within Mission Bay Park, the grounds host the World Championships organized by the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC). The sport is played on the sand without base running by three-person teams. Over two weekends in July, the tournament fills the fields with tents, costumes, and a festival atmosphere.
