Original Glider Rides

Operating continuously out of Dillingham Airfield since 1970, Honolulu Soaring relies entirely on rushing wind and rising air once unhooked aloft. The lineup spans scenic flights for one or two passengers alongside specialty hands-on and aerobatic flights, with formal flight instruction also available. Along the way, pilots break down the mechanics of unpowered flight as the aircraft skirts coastal ridgelines, where passengers can scan the water below for passing fish and whales.
