Description

This 6.5-acre monumental stone sculpture and environmental artwork was built entirely by hand inside a former bluestone quarry by artist Harvey Fite using hand-powered tools. The monumental work anchors a larger 63-acre outdoor sculpture park that folds stone terraces, passages, and walking trails around a gallery and museum, offering visitors spaces for exploring the grounds, picnicking, and taking in mountain views.
