Marks the northern Oahu station where radar operators first detected incoming aircraft before the Pearl Harbor attack.
Description

Honoring the Army's SCR-270 radar station on the northern tip of Oahu, the memorial centers on the events of December 7, 1941. That morning, Privates George Elliott and Joseph Lockard detected incoming attack waves of Japanese aircraft from the site, generating an early warning that went unheeded before the strike on Pearl Harbor.
