On The Easel

Located in Long Island City, On the Easel is a community art studio founded by artist and educator Justin Kinney to make art accessible and approachable for working professionals, curious people, and growing artists. The studio hosts small-group oil painting classes, paint and sip events, mosaic workshops, and custom private gatherings for corporate teams, birthday parties, and bachelorettes. Visitors participate in hands-on sessions led by Kinney, frequently noting the encouraging environment and leaving with completed artwork they can take home.
