On Stage Playhouse

Downtown Chula Vista’s resident live theater company builds its calendar around regional premieres and community-driven festivals, pairing local actors with original productions. Inside, the setup centers on a wide, open stage, though the aisles run tight and constricting. A lobby offers refreshments at intermission, with neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops just outside along the downtown blocks.
