Omakase, Specialty Rolls, And Sashimi Off Clark Street
Long specialty rolls, sashimi boats, and omakase come out of a sit-down sushi room a block from the Promenade.
🍣 The Clark Street counter
Two blocks from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, this Clark Street room plates sushi with the patience of an old neighborhood counter. Specialty rolls arrive long and lacquered with sauce, and a wooden boat carries nigiri and sashimi cut to order. Regulars hand the kitchen the night and let the omakase run, course after course, until the fish thins out. Green tea and red bean mochi close the table on a sweet note. The dining room stays quiet enough to hear the rice being pressed, a rare register for a Saturday in the neighborhood.
