Description

Believed to have been the first air-conditioned theater in the South, the venue layers its historic auditorium with drifting clouds overhead, red velvet curtains, a peacock statue, and lamps styled like flickering candlelight. Alongside screenings for events like the Miami Film Festival, the theater and its adjoining 10-story tower are undergoing a revitalization into an integrated arts, education, and community hub.
