Olympia Gyro
4.2 (214)restaurant
A Reading Terminal Market staple serving gyros off the spit alongside scratch-made spanakopita and baklava.
Description

The stall has been at the market since 1982, with the Voulgaridis family taking ownership in 1984. George and Despina built the business, and their son Athens now runs daily operations alongside Roula and the family. Despina still makes the spanakopita and baklava by hand each morning from scratch. At the spit, offerings span chicken, pork, lamb, or veggie gyros, balanced by a wider counter menu of pan-fried salmon fillets cooked to order, grilled souvlaki, Greek salads, and house-fried veggie fritters.
