Olive Tree Cafe & Comedy Cellar

Olive Tree Cafe is the street-level restaurant at 117 MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village, serving hummus and kebabs across a dining room of stained-glass lamps and worn wooden tables. It is here, between sets, that comedians break bread, and the house claims many of the most memorable bits of American comedy were forged over these tables. The kitchen offers dine-in and takeaway, and live music runs every Monday evening with the Olive Tree Madmen.
