Description

Founded in 1978 to recreate the charm of a traditional Bavarian village in Southern California, this outdoor complex features cobblestone-style walkways, storybook architecture, and a mix of shops and cafés. Visitors can find German foods and beers such as Jager schnitzel, rabbit and rattlesnake sausage with sauerkraut, and princess cake, alongside events like Wurst fest. The grounds can feel kinda deserted on a weekday, and most stores do not open until noon or one o'clock.
