Old Forge Hardware & Furniture Co.

Generations of visitors have made this Old Forge shop a habitual stop, drawn by its mix of housewares, camping accessories, hardware, and books. The stock reads as a treasure hunt of useful and whimsical finds, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Yet the charm comes with sticker shock: one reviewer, a Bostonian, called the prices insanely high, like triple where they should be, and left empty-handed despite the inviting aisles.
