Ohlone Park
4.5 (643)park
Five blocks of green space pairing wooden play structures and an off-leash dog run with art honoring Ohlone heritage.
Description

Stretching 9.8 acres along Hearst Avenue, the park links neighborhoods along the Ohlone Greenway. Among its open lawns and community garden stands a mural by Native American artist Jean Lamarr surrounded by native plantings, honoring Ohlone heritage.
Different zones cater to specific paces. The center holds a fenced playground sized for younger children, contrasting with the east end’s expansive timber-and-rope climbing towers. Sports spaces support basketball, soccer, and softball, with room to string up personal volleyball or pickleball nets, while the off-leash run at Hearst and Grant offers wood chips, shade, and separate fenced areas for large and small dogs.
