A rare survivor of the 1876 Centennial Exposition, this sandstone landmark now anchors scenic West Fairmount Park.
Description

Built from various Ohio sandstones to showcase the state at the 1876 fair, the structure stands alongside Memorial Hall and two comfort stations as one of the exposition's few surviving physical remnants. Following its restoration, the landmark now functions as the headquarters for the Fairmount Park Conservancy, marked on the grounds as the Center for Parks. Listed on both local and National historic registers, it sits near the Abstinence Fountain, the Mann Center, and two park lakes.
