Description
Written by Cole Escola, the show examines Mary Todd Lincoln’s unrequited yearnings and forgotten ambitions in the weeks before her husband’s assassination through what the playwright describes as the lens of an idiot. Directed by Sam Pinkleton, the 80-minute one-act play earned Tony Awards for direction and lead performance, as well as a finalist spot for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The extended run features cast members including Jinkx Monsoon, Kumail Nanjiani, and Michael Urie.
