Description

Based in Honolulu, the marine conservation organization works to protect and restore coral reef biodiversity through structured fieldwork. Programs engage visitors, kamaʻāina, and aspiring marine scientists across varying levels of commitment. Shorter tracks include coral reef ecology scuba diving alongside 4-day ecological monitoring courses. For longer involvement, 6-to-8 week marine research internships involve participants directly in reef study, incorporating technical data collection such as underwater photogrammetry.
