Ocean Air Community Park and Recreation Center

A 16,500-square-foot recreation center anchors the site with a multi-functional gymnasium and community facilities built to LEED Silver sustainable design standards. Outside, the grounds spread into two ball fields, an outdoor basketball court, and broad open lawns framed by rolling mounds and picnic shelters. Play spaces include climbing rocks and boulders, a sand zone, and dedicated structures geared for children ages 2 through 12, while a planted row of liquid amber trees buffers the turf from prevailing winds sweeping across the park.
