High in the Koʻolau Range, this famously gusty overlook commands sweeping, dramatic views across windward Oʻahu.
Description

A paved walkway leads out to the viewing terrace, set 1,200 feet up against dramatic cliffs. From the lookout, the coastline opens toward Kaneohe, Kailua, and Mokoliʻi. The windswept pass also holds historic weight as the site of the 1795 Battle of Nuʻuanu with Kamehameha I. Powerful trade winds rush through the mountain corridor, and visitors frequently note that the terrace can be extremely windy and crowded.
