The multi-use trail can be accessed via Burnt Mills West Special Park, a 2.7-acre property along Route 29 (Columbia Pike) in Silver Spring across from Burnt Mills East Special Park. The grounds provide parking for a section of the path, though the site's historic building is not open to the public.
