Description
Northwest Branch Stream Valley Park combines dirt paths and paved corridors along the water. The roughly eight-mile natural surface route begins near Alderton Road, crossing Randolph Road and Colesville Road at Burnt Mills. Further along, a hard surface trail segment takes over to connect with The Anacostia Trail. On the opposite bank between Kemp Mill Road and Colesville Road, the Rachel Carson Greenway Trail runs parallel along the creek's eastern side.
