4.8 (8)gallery
Founded in 1972 by ASU artists, this gallery treats photography as an evolving experiment shaping how we view reality.
Description

Part of the ASU Herberger Institute's School of Art, the space was launched on the Tempe campus by Professor Jack Stuler and MFA students when photography was struggling for local recognition as a fine art. Decades on, its program engages both traditional practice and related digital technologies, operating as an active studio and testing ground for how photographic media mediate and shape daily experience.
