North San Antonio Hills Park

Managed by the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department, this modest green space is not fenced in and borders residential yards where neighborhood dogs frequently bark through the fence line.

Play equipment is pared down to three swings and a merry-go-round set among well-maintained grounds and mature shade trees. For a quick jog or stroll, the outer cement path provides roughly a quarter-mile loop, though low-hanging tree branches require some head-ducking along the way.
