North Philadelphia Peace Park

Run by the neighborhood and sustained by local donations, the campus operates as an open passive park where food cultivation meets grassroots care. Since 2018, its gardens have distributed more than 30,000 pounds of fresh produce while introducing local youth to hands-on agricultural practices. Health initiatives take center stage during monthly Self-Care Saturdays, where staff practitioners and health professionals run free community sessions spanning group counseling, art therapy, yoga, fitness, and cooking classes.
