North Ball Field 2

The field shares Piedmont Park’s Active Oval—a fitness hub that originally functioned as a race track—with soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, and a second softball diamond. The grounds are unlighted and operate under seasonal hours alongside specific turf rules, including a policy that cleats are allowed for permitted play only rather than leisure or practice. Both youth and adult groups can reserve the field through the Piedmont Park Conservancy, with hourly rates differing for Atlanta residents and non-residents.
