Description

The Treasures exhibition is a legitimate draw: a Gutenberg Bible, the original Winnie-the-Pooh stuffed animals, rare manuscripts from Burmese palm-leaf texts to Ottoman illuminated works, and an early printed copy of the Declaration of Independence. Beyond it, the museum-style halls are packed with artifacts and walk through completely free. The Rose Main Reading Room lives up to its billing — spacious, quiet, and beautifully designed, a perfect place for reading and studying.
