New York Musicians Perform in a Second Floor Saloon
Local acts share the room with artists from abroad at a longstanding Greenwich Village music venue.
🎶 A Room for Blues
Blues starts with the room itself, a second floor Greenwich Village saloon under an arched ceiling, looking out over the bustle of Bleecker Street. Dating to 1990, Terra Blues has spent over three decades hosting blues musicians, pairing talent from the New York scene with artists from abroad in a modern day saloon setting.
Live blues and whiskeys carry the night upstairs. Doors open at half past six PM Sunday through Friday and at 6 PM on Saturday, with closing at 2 AM Sunday through Thursday and at 3 AM on Friday and Saturday.
Head up the stairs at 149 Bleecker Street, order a whiskey from the bar, and let the band set the pace for the rest of the night. Make it the second half of a Village evening, with dinner somewhere nearby first and the music carrying things from there.
