Description

This heritage line operates 18 miles of track with diesel locomotives, but the real draw is the range of themed excursions. You can ride rail bikes along the scenic Lahaska-Buckingham route, which one visitor found 'not difficult at all,' or book a speakeasy-themed train where stories of Prohibition are told over light fare and a flight of cocktails. Wine-tasting trips also run, though one rider noted the train simply goes out and back, and the experience 'lacked a bit of the old-world atmosphere.' Reviews consistently praise the staff, while some question whether the price matches the experience.
