Founded by Umbi Singh in 1986, the restaurant occupies an AIA award-winning space anchored by a bar nestled in Arts & Crafts décor. The kitchen is led by Chef Molina, whose cooking earned recognition in the MICHELIN Guide Washington, DC in 2023 and 2024. Over more than three decades, the dining room has drawn everyone from presidents and visiting dignitaries to neighborhood regulars, suited as much to quiet, intimate dinners as to larger milestone celebrations.
