Description

This long-standing eatery has a decidedly unpolished environment, complete with smoke near the entrance that mirrors casual dining spots in Fuzhou itself. The draw here is simple, traditional fare. The crispy fried frog legs are a standout, though other menu items require some patience: the snails are served uncracked and must be pried out with toothpicks, and the peanut noodles are stickier and darker than the style found in Chinatown. It is a straightforward, functional spot for regional staples.
