Operating out of East Nashville's Reunion Bar, New Berlin draws on the German kebab shop culture founders Tyson Sharpe, Lucas Sharpe, and Braden Welborn absorbed while living abroad. The kitchen leans into a distinct mash-up of German, Turkish, and Canadian comfort foods, dressing its döner with tzatziki ranch and sweet red sauce and sharing counter space with cheese curds and poutine. On weekends, the setup runs late, keeping orders moving until 2 AM.
