New Balance Field

Spanning 110,000 square feet, the venue opened in 2013 and doubled BU's playable green space. That extra turf allowed the university to introduce a varsity men's lacrosse program while providing practice grounds for over 8,000 club and intramural athletes alongside varsity squads. The synthetic pitch also incorporates a high-tech maintenance setup, featuring water cannons controlled via a phone app by the coaching staff. Visitors consistently point out the clean facilities and well-maintained playing surface.
