First opened in 1984 as Asian Kitchen, the restaurant became New Asian Kitchen in 2003 when husband-and-wife owner-operators Jinshi and Qui Xian Tan took over. After purchasing the business, the pair set out to significantly expand the original menu, focusing on fresh ingredients to broaden the kitchen's reach well beyond its earlier offerings.
