Description

Located within the National Arboretum, the overlook centers on 22 neoclassical sandstone columns that originally formed part of the U.S. Capitol portico. Removed during the Capitol's 1958 expansion, the historic stonework now serves as an open-air architectural landmark set directly against the landscape.
