Friends and business partners Nate Rimer and Al Mendelson first opened the delicatessen on North Beverly Drive in 1945. Operating for more than 70 years, the establishment is now run by longtime customers Shelli and Irving Azoff, who continue the founders' vision by offering classic deli favorites alongside new additions with an enduring focus on quality ingredients and heartfelt service.
