Affiliated with the Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation, the dojo centers its practice on the technical lineage and legacy of Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa. Instruction balances authentic Shotokan traditions with competitive sparring, guiding practitioners who go on to compete at national and international levels. Chief Instructor Dr. Nataliya Pidkovka—a biomedical scientist and college professor who began training in Ukraine in 1993—carries black belt certifications through SKIF, ISKF, and HDKI, drawing on decades of coaching that began with founding a collegiate club in Lviv.
