Nanee's Kitchen

Started in 2004 by Sabina and Danish Ahmad with their aunt Tayyaba Khanum, the counter cooks from family recipes from grandmother Hamida. The daily spread ranges from chana masala, okra masala, and yellow dal to halal chicken korma, lamb tandoori, and salmon curry. Most dishes are kept mild, with homemade hot, mild, or sweet chutneys on hand to adjust the heat to taste. For a quick bite or drink, there are baked samosas alongside yogurt lassis flavored with cardamom, rose, or mango.
