N.C. Hibbett Train & History Museum

Established in 2023, the museum centers on the vision of N.C. Hibbett, the town's first mayor in 1973 and an avid collector whose trains anchor the space. Bringing the collection to the public involved local rail enthusiast Keith Wamsley, who partnered with municipal departments to restore many locomotives and train cars from Hibbett's holdings. The displays reflect an era when passing train cars could outnumber local residents on any given day, tracing Mt. Juliet's path toward its 1972 incorporation.
