Description
Curated by NWS Fellows as an NWS BLUE Project, this interdisciplinary evening of music and contemporary dance explores feminine power. Visiting dancers from San Francisco and New York perform choreography highlighting creation, rage, oppression, and freedom. The programme also pairs Karim Al-Zand’s live orchestra score with a presentation of silhouette animation pioneer Lotte Reiniger’s 1922 silent film, Cinderella.
