Museum of International Propaganda
4.5 (68)museum
Around $0.00
A compact museum exploring state persuasion through political art, posters, and artifacts from more than 25 regimes.
Description

Assembled over three decades by founders Tom and Lilka Areton, the collection centers on 20th-century material financed by governments, dictators, and special interests. Displays draw heavily from World War II and the Cold War, featuring satirical drawings, caricatures, and historical newspapers from regimes across the Soviet Union, North Korea, Cuba, China, and Iran. Rather than following a strict timeline, the exhibits are organized across seven themes and techniques of persuasion, including a dedicated section examining the propaganda of Nazi Germany.
