Murals on DUMBO's Old Warehouse Walls, Then a Rooftop Drink

Street art, waterfront history and skyline views in DUMBO, with time set aside in each area for photos and portraits on request.

DUMBO began as a waterfront of warehouses. Its brick walls now carry murals, and this two-hour walk with Ariel Coello reads the neighborhood through that paint before turning to the river.

Each booking walks as its own private group. Along the way the route steps into historic warehouses and artisan shops, then finishes on a rooftop deck.

As of October 14, 2026, the schedule listed the standard walk at 10:30 AM Tuesday through Sunday, plus a 4:30 PM start on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and no Monday walks. Adults 21 to 59 pay USD 59, seniors 60 to 75 pay USD 55, ages 8 to 20 pay USD 45 and ages 5 to 7 pay USD 25.

On Saturdays the adult rate needs two adults on the booking, and a solo adult can't book that day. Confirmation is instant.

Paint on the Old Warehouse Walls

The guide covers how Brooklyn's street art scene has evolved over the past 50-plus years, stopping at murals around the area. The history thread runs alongside it: how DUMBO went from a waterfront of warehouses to a district of murals, design studios, cafés and breweries.

Expect a few doors. The walk pops into some of the historic warehouses and artisan shops, and the listing also brings in the neighborhood's film scene.

Three Bridges and the Manhattan Skyline

Then the river takes over. The walk stops for views of Manhattan and all three bridges that link Brooklyn to the city, and the listing describes 360-degree skyline views with the Statue of Liberty in sight.

The finish is a rooftop with a deck and a wide range of food and drink options. The standard option's notes name Time Out Market and an optional drink. One free drink option is included, listed as an alcoholic beverage, and the adult rate starts at age 21.

A Guide With a Camera

Photos are built into the timing. The guide sets aside time in each area for pictures and takes personal photos on request during the standard walk.

The Brooklyn Art Walk + Photoshoot option adds up to 10 professionally curated photos, sent digitally, on top of the full walk. As of October 14, 2026, it ran at 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at USD 119 per adult, USD 109 per senior, USD 69 for ages 8 to 20 and USD 49 for ages 5 to 7. This option needs at least two adults on every booking.

Access, Weather and Custom Times

The listing ticks wheelchair access for all areas and surfaces, stroller access, service animals and all fitness levels. The guide's own description adds nothing on step-free routes into the warehouses or up to the rooftop. Message the guide before booking when that matters.

The listing also flags that a walk can be canceled for bad weather or for too few travelers. Times outside the calendar are possible: the guide invites requests and confirms availability.

📍 The listing gives DUMBO, Brooklyn as both the start and the end point and names no street corner. The map pin marks the neighborhood itself. Confirm the exact meeting spot with the guide once booked.
