4.7 (302)attraction
Perched in Palolo Valley, the largest Korean temple outside Korea pairs traditional architecture with ocean views.
Description

Built in historical Silla Dynasty style, the grounds house a World Peace Pagoda alongside replicas of pagodas and statues dating to the 5th century. Beyond hosting monk retreats and meditation, Abbot Do-Hyun envisioned the temple as an open gathering place sharing dharma teachings through educational, cultural, and monastic programs. The tranquil mountain sanctuary maintains a welcoming environment dedicated to cultivating the mind, body, and spirit.
