Mt. Olomana Trail (Three Peaks)
4.8 (179)park
A thrilling ridge scramble across three jagged peaks, balancing sheer drop-offs with sweeping views over east Oʻahu.
Description

Rising above Kailua and Waimānalo, the trail traverses the exposed spine of a standalone mountain. It is widely tackled as a sunrise hike, when the first light catches the distant cliffs of the Koʻolau Mountains across panoramic lookouts on the first and second peaks.
The route demands serious footing along narrow dirt paths and sections requiring rope-assisted climbing. It also carries a reputation as one of the deadliest hikes on Oʻahu, presenting severe exposure that frequently catches inexperienced hikers off guard.
