Movemakers Philly

Established in 2015, Movemakers Philly roots dance training in the celebration and study of Black American resourcefulness and creativity. Studio practice emphasizes discipline, respect, and body awareness alongside rhythm, helping students develop personal accountability and confidence on beat. Beyond music lessons and classes spanning ages 3 to 17 as well as adults, the school hosts after-school programs and lively parties known for coaxing even hesitant dancers onto the floor.
