Description
Rising 3,849 feet above the Bay Area, the park allows visitors to drive or hike to the summit museum and observation tower. On exceptionally clear days, the vantage point opens onto vistas reaching the Sierra Nevada mountains hundreds of miles out. Beyond the main trails, the grounds accommodate horseback riding, cycling routes, and picnic areas.
