Description
Operating in downtown Montclair since late 1984, this independent bookstore uses its vast maze-like layout of bookcases to house upper and lower levels packed with ceiling-high shelves, cassettes, CDs, and vintage vinyl records. Founded by Peter Ryby, the unassuming shop hosts special gatherings such as the annual haunted funhouse alongside its everyday inventory.
