Montavilla Park
4.2 (535)park
A century-old neighborhood hub with an outdoor pool, futsal court, and plenty of lawn beneath mature shade trees.
Description

Acquired in 1921, this 10-acre East Portland park borrows its name from "Mt. Tabor Villa," harking back to the district’s late-1800s streetcar expansion. The park grounds run alongside the Montavilla Community Center, which has staged local recreation programs and youth leagues since the 1920s. Paved and unpaved walking paths thread past a playground, picnic shelters, and soccer and softball fields, with accessible restrooms and play areas integrated throughout the site.
