Monatiquot River - Middle Street Loop Trail

The parcel was acquired by the town in 2018 for open space and recreation, with its layout decided at an October 2019 public meeting where local preference decisively backed a mixed trail over an entirely boardwalk plan. Following construction plans finalized in 2022, the completed loop incorporates six informational QR codes along the way so walkers can scan and learn about site features as they go. Direct access to the path is served by parallel parking on Middle Street.
