Description

Beyond its historic botanical specimens, the privately owned public grounds are anchored by the Hitachi tree featured in Japanese television and commercials. The landscape also preserves sacred Hawaiian cultural sites and historical architecture, notably the Kamehameha stone and a cottage built for Prince Lot Kapuāiwa, who later reigned as King Kamehameha V.
